It is coming early. Fall. I know it is only August but the birch trees in the yard are beginning to lose their leaves. It happened last year around this time and it was a really early fall.
With the extremely foggy weather we have had all season, I think we are skipping summer and sliding right into fall. Hopefully we will get some Indian summer in late September/early October. Why is it called Indian summer? Hmmm.
So, with that in mind, we have to haul in a lot of new soil, get the new plants in the ground and top it all with good mulch.
Is a gardener’s work every totally finished?
