Spouses

Michael and I were talking the other night about the spouse of a person who has been given a fatal/bad diagnosis. He has recently realized that he has put his life on hold waiting for the next shoe to drop, so to speak.

He has not moved forward in five years. I don’t know if he realized this during his yearly review of his life.

He has begun to move.

As I am stable, he has no reason not to work. He is in negotiations for a new job. It will be a joy to have some regular income.

He said that he could no longer hide. He has to get back to life.

Funny, he has finally chosen to live well with a bad diagnosis.
