It seems that you, dear reader, like recipes for those of us on prednisone. We just can't process certain foods well. So, my diet only includes non-starchy vegetables and protein. No yogurt, no sugar, no carbs, no milk, no starchy veggies. I have culled many low fat/low carb recipes from the Internet so here are this week's offerings:
Mongolian Beef (I use a sugar substitute): http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=1736075

Bacon Wrapped Chicken (We use 2 breasts for 4 servings): http://www.food.com/recipe/bacon-wrapped-chicken-oamc-79944
Our Crustless Breakfast Quiche is made with lots of cooked onions, pancetta and low-fat mozzarella cheese. The basic recipe is: http://recipes.sparkpeople.com/recipe-detail.asp?recipe=290991
Michael had a salad with the fish while I had my favorite chopped cabbage with Trader Joe's Goddess dressing. With breakfast, I either have the cabbage or Trader Joe's chopped vegetables, also with the Goddess dressing. I found a low fat Asian dressing made by Kraft that is also marvelous on the cabbage. We cooked some beets from the neighbor's garden and also nabbed some broccoli that I had with lunch and dinner.
Happy Cooking!
